Full bodied for a Merlot, nice plum color. It smells spicy and bold. Very long in mouth, with good cherry flavor. A bit astringent, very bold, and fruity. I like it, but I think it’s more than I want a lot of. Edit: I liked it a lot more after it had time to breathe. A lot of the harshness mellowed out and it was much more enjoyable
