Hot day, opened an 06. Big plum, citrus nose. Nose promised more than the glass delivered-which was higher end of fine, w/ notes of cinnamon, currant, balsamic, coffee but lacking depth or finish. I think in a restaurant in Ibiza or Barcelona I would have been delighted with this at about 40 euro a bottle. Still, this is very good value for what is really a gran reserve level Rioja.
