2014v. Another Aldi bargain wine review. The back label description is accurate: vibrant black cherry and a little spice. Mild, approachable tannins with a slight chew to the. Decent acidity. Not a lot of complexity, but a solid, balanced everyday red table wine that is fairly versatile with food. I had it with peppery spaghetti carbonara instead of something like a Chianti. 13% ABV.

Dec 2nd, 2017Clean, thin, a little smoky with grippy tannins. Typical dark fruit like Blackberries and under ripe plum skin. High acidity. Great bottle for those times you want to drink a red but not open a pricey bottle. Went will with chicken tacos. If you have a display cork collection, this one could fit in nicely. I will be buying a few more of these bottles.
