My favorite of German Blanco’s single-vineyard wines in Bierzo. Field blend of mostly Mencia with some Garnacha Tintorera, Godello and Doña Blanca from a small plot with very old vines (100+ years old) in Albares de la Ribera, in Bierzo Alto (very cold, high altitude). Co-fermented in amphora and aged for 13 months in neutral oak. Red fruit aromas and flavors. Fresh, lively
