Medium ruby in color; plums, woodsmoke, and blueberries on the nose; high acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like dried leaves, blackberry jam, wet gravel with a long finish; it's a little rough around the edges, but pretty good. There's a bit of a sour flavor up front that is making me lower my score.
