I had the 2006 riserva Barbaresco. It is Classic ageing Nebbiolo. I decanted it. Served with buccatini bolognese. Enjoyed it for 2 hours afterwards. Slight brick color on edges. Aromas of dried roses, a bit of leather , tar and oak. Tart cherry fruit medium to full tannins. Very dry. It certainly has more years of life.
