Ernst Loosen Pfalz Gewürztraminer

Completely different impression this time. Loved the Mosel-Kabinett-like weight and freshness.

Cheap, simple, sweet. Sorbate?

Light in color, medium dry, fruity, only slightly acidic, very aromatic, medium body, pear, slight apricot

Too dry. Not what I look for in a Gewurtz.

Good. A tad sweet, not too spicy

Sweet, but not overly.

Straightforward wine that has a pleasant sweetness and pretty admirable acidity. That perfumed spicy quality is present but subdued.

Medium depth floral bouquet. Little too much like cider riesling. Nice acidity, but would like more body.

Nice light crisp for a summer day
