"Odedi"

Dark brown in color with orange / brick rim.

Pronounced nose of sweet cherries, strawberries, blueberries, oak, vanilla, metals, eucalyptus, mint and white pepper.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with cherries, oak, vanilla, eucalyptus, licorice and light Cola.

Smooth finish with very little tannins and light black pepper.

This is a great, unfiltered Merlot, smooth and enjoyable, but not fully balanced anymore. Was probably much better a couple of years ago.

Hand picked grapes from an altitude of 800 meters in the upper Galilee region, in Israel. Aged for 44 months in French oak barrels.
Paired it with a cheese plate, fruits and great company.

13.5% alcohol by volume.
