I tasted blueberries, perhaps a hint of strawberries, rigid tannins & an initial sharp acidity with dry'ish after taste. Fleshy smell. The guidebooks say herbal, black pepper, moderate tannins. But overall I enjoyed the dryness of this which was in contrast to some of the 'juicy' wines I've had recently.
