2010 vintage. Middle of the road Italian wine for me, the nose is kinda savory, kinda peppery. I taste tart, bitter cherries and a dried herb component, but not much else. The wine itself is a dull ruby color, which makes sense since this wine doesn't enliven any of my sense, it is just kinda there.

Acidic and spicy at first. Mellowed out with tomato sauce of some baked ziti. Really enjoyed it.
