Probably one of my favourite Tuscans. First drinking this bottle makes me thinking about Montepulciano heights, its church and of course about Simona Fabroni, owner of Villa Sant'anna estate.
This wine is only produced during the best vintages. And it is easily noticeable.
Tanins are velvety, mouth is perfectly balanced between strength and fruit of mature Sangiovese. Nose feels like cigar box and leather. Great wine for an affordable price.
Do not drink during blind taste : you must feel Italy while drinking 😉
