薄目の赤茶色でイチゴやイチゴジャム、ブルーベリー、樽香、なめし革、アルコール臭がします。酸味が強く渋みと苦味があとからやってきてパンチのあるワインです。バローロにしてはちょっと軽めで味からするとちょっと値段が高い気がします。
