A very nice lighter-styled Nebbiolo dominant blend from the Novarese. Nose has crisp, macerated cherry and loads of freshly-cracked stone, along with a nice woodsy barrel cellar note. Zesty and direct in the mouth, it’s still got a little youthful angularity and tannin to resolve, and features crisp acids as well. Good with food now, better in 2.

Really like this mellow Nebbiolo blend. Good with food but stands on its own without having a lingering palate that can happen with with this grape. Could drink a whole bottle after dinner with this, and just might.
