Bright Ruby, with aromas of blackberry, boysenberry, raspberry, candied lavender, violet, red cherry, black cherry and wild strawberry. And yet despite these abundant fruit elements this is more than a fruit bomb, it’s a surprisingly balanced wine with great appeal. Soft tannins, good acidity and lovely texture - classic new world taken on a classic Rhône blend of Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Carignan. A bit rich at nearly 15% abv but totally enjoyable.

Dang, Villa Creek makes delicious stuff! Wish I could get more of this in North Carolina. Rhone stuff here, fruit with a huge punch dry back bone with that silky smooth finish.
