Les Vignobles de Ramatuelle R Rosé 2017 Côtes du Provence, France

Happy National Rosé Day! Let's celebrate with one from Provence.

Light orange /salmon in color.

Tart on the nose with citrus, light strawberries, raspberries, lemons, grapefruits, light melons and minerals.

Medium-bodied and creamy with racing acidity.

Very dry on the palate with limes, grapefruits, lemons, bitter herbs, vegetables, sea salt and white pepper.

Short finish with bitter almonds.

This French Rosé is drinkable, but not my taste. Tart, bitter and unbalanced. Better with food than just by itself.

Needs to be very chilled. I paired it with seafood.

12.5% alcohol by volume.

80 points.
