While Bulliat is not yet a household name in cru Beaujolais parlance, it should be. Every wine I’ve had from Bulliat has been excellent. While I personally prefer the Moulin-a-Vent, because I like a more full bodied Beaujolais, the Fleurie is tremendous as well. It has concentrated cherry, mineral, and earth as you’d expect, with medium-bodied tannins that integrate all of it. Very well-made! 2017 vintage on May 4, 2019
