A deep garnet color with orange edges. Medium tears. Strong nose initially with red fruit notes and a light earthy note. Medium minus acid, medium plus tannin. Black current, red fruit, minerals. Flavors meld and mellow into balance after aeration (at least an hour).

Am excellent dark berry start with a tinge of date. The middle is dark chocolate, and the wine finishes with a mineral black pepper spice.

Pure red fruit, almost delicate but with nice concentration, it could use more complexity but is quite pleasant.

Wonderfully crafted blend that's equal parts earthy with subtle fruit notes. A truly great Chateauneuf du Pape!

Wow! In honor of the century mark for the brunier family. Fresh mixed berries, lavender, it actually reminds me of fresh pressed grapes at a winery just on the nose. Palate is a more ripe and jammy version of La Crau, although I haven’t had the ‘15. Strawberries and raspberries for days, but also a game quality with floral essence. This seems like a great value for 40 bones.

Dark fruit, some spice and earthiness on the nose. Carries over to the palate with other layers of complexity. Bold, but with layers of subtlety and nuance. Long lingering finish. Delicious!
