I remember falling in love with Timorasso the first time I tried it a few years ago, and the story behind it. How the producer had grubbed out some acres of Cortese which makes the ubiquitous Gavi to produce the luscious, delicious, complex Timorasso. Pear being the overriding descriptor. Good value as well, when bought in Italy.

Oddly on the sweet side, baked fruit, not what I was expecting based on past bottles of other vintages… Not sure if this is a vintage thing and it being passed it's prime but usually five years for this wine is not showing so much maturity.

Really delicious. Apple, florals, and mineral. A completely unique grape that makes sense of the space between white burgundy and cru reisling--two wines that are completely distinct, yet share similar indicators.

Delicious! Hints at riesling w/ its aromatics, petrol character, ripe limey fruit, bracing acid and juicy fruit character, but there’s something almost Rhône white about it; slightly chewy, containing some grip and lots of texture and honeyed stoniness. Will seek out more Timorasso

Walter is a genius for saving Timorasso. Petrol, marzipan, and loads of minerality.

Peach, some smoky mineral. Full bodied with good acidity.

Trebbiano from Piedmont. Like Riesling on the nose, mouthfeel is almost like a light red
