Love this wine made by JC Berrouet of Petrus fame. Raspberry, bittersweet cocoa, earthy, cassis, superb minerality. Lovely, refined nose with a hint of rusticity. Palate is so ultra refined with plum and raspberry fruit. Ripe, precise taninns and great purity. Very very clean. Super juicy and structured like a classical Bordeaux. Good now better in 5 years.

Rumor is, the owner of this estate is one of the winemakers at Pétrus and this is a family side-project. What I know for sure is that it’s a really solid and balanced wine.
