Jean Claude Berrouet knows his way with Merlot. This is really exceptional. Cocoa and mineral on the elegant and expressive nose. Lovely old school Bordeaux on the palate with earth, semi sweet cocoa, plum/cherry and terrific acids that keep this amazingly fresh and lively. Also an amazing structure which ensures 5-10 years ahead of it. They do not make them like this much anymore.
