Two excellent Sonoma Valley Cabernet Sauvignons. Well-aged! Well balanced! Both hitting their prime! Honestly, slight difference between these two full-bodied wines as the reserve had a deeper, bolder taste with lots more dark fruit & oak, however they both offered a deliciously smooth finish. 2016- super complex. Great tart fruit, balanced with a nice peppery body, and finishes with a lasting smokiness. Medium tannin structure

Blueberry and candied black cherry on the nose. Oak kissed with vanilla rounds out the black cherry and plum and fresh Lilian and rose petals. Medium plus body and medium plus alcohol. -
