2012 Vintage. Slightly astringent nose, despite decanting. Pepper and new leather after the burn. Taste - fresh ground black pepper, ripe plum and a slight raisin finish. Fantastic tannins that leave a texture but not to pucker.

Vanilla and nutmeg burst from the glass. Great raspberry and blueberry pie with silky tannins command the palate with a solid lingering finish. Love this wine!

3L!! The soft cork went straight into the bottle- we were nervous but this was still perfect. A few hours decanted. One glass is left- it’ll be my treat this afternoon after a full 24 hrs hanging around. I may add to my review then.
