Paired this Petite Syrah from Suison Valley, right next door to Napa valley, with Fillet Mignon au poivre and Lyonaise potatoes and it was a match made in heaven! Such rich full bodied wine with complex red fruit and earthy and peppery undernotes complemented the food perfectly. Deserved a very high score.
