Quite nice, complex but not worh the price. Best with food...similar to an aussie shiraz in its pepper

Deep ruby and viscous to the eye, pepper, spice and fruit on the nose. Clean, smooth dark fruit on the palate, with a tad of a bite of spiciness at the back.

Quite superb, drinking early, but I could keep this for a few years quite easily.

This is the start of a second case - surprised how closed this bottle is to the previous 6. After decanting, strawberry jam and saddle leather (yes, really)

Slightest bit of funk. Bit more tannin though would not be under appreciated!

At 10yrs on, it's behaving quite well. Nose has softened, and the tannins are smoother at the finish. Color shows age and reminiscent of a Malbec. Glad I have another bottle!

Whoa. Amazing stuff. Drank in South Africa and paired amazingly well with ostrich, kudu, warthog, lamb, and beef. Kept ordering bottles because I couldn't figure out the exchange rate. Pretty sure I'm screwed.

Nice rich flavour, could twin this wine with a nice rich beef, lamb or flavoursome fowl dish. Slight bitter aftertaste with quite heavy tannins but certainly a good drinker with great flavours.

Excellent 2008. Smooth easy drinking cab.

Andre has produced a gem here! An excellent nose with a long satisfying finish. Highly recommended.
