Family Reserve Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon

Wow. This this is everything you could want it a wine. It’s big and bold. The aroma pops right out of the glass and fills the room. My son who I usually go to for commentary on the nose said there was no need for me to pass the glass. He said it was liked you open up a huge bottle of fruit punch. The aromatics were amazing and the taste on the palate was just as big. Delicious and a long finish to bring it home. This was great.

96-97. Got some cherry, cassis, black currant, cola. Finish could be bigger but good up front and mid-palate.

Much more accessible and fruity than the '14 hunnicutt 935. The hunnicutt will improve over time but this is drinking well right now (but still will benefit with a few years) . the bone ash is more of your opulent cab compared to this. 96-97.

Very delicious bottle of great wine . Very balanced in fruit, acidity, and alcohol. Great mouth feel aroma over the top!

One of my favorites, never disappointed!

Need to try with more aging, good but not their best

Drinks great out of the bottle a Real rich big wine with a touch of sugar / sweetness , huge black raspberry jam notes with intense fig on back end. A huge wild berry bouquet on nose with a hue of cardamom with 30 second plus finish !

Glorious.

Amazing wine! Great to serve when friends come in from near and far.

Kurt never disappoints however I'm glad I purchased my total allotment for this wine as it is way to young to drink at this point. Another 10 years and this will definitely be 100 point Cab. Until then we wait!
