One of my favorite bottles of wine under 50 bucks. And i said wine and not sangio, because this doesn't taste like sangio. It's a bold red wine...sangio run through charbono skins ripasso style. Darker, spicier, more tannin.

Plums and spice were oh so nice. Sangiovese is such a fun drinking wine. This is a great example of California example. The quality of this producer shines through in this bottle of wine.

Jun 14th, 2017Considering how new this is I have to say it's quite tasty, not quite the same as their past Penny lane Sangiovese, but I could see myself buying more for an everyday drinker.
Fruit sourced from Antica estate also used Ripasso method with old vine Charbono grapes,🤷♂️
