Delicious with lamb tagine

Based on prior very positive experience with Veleta, I'm guessing I managed to find a bottle that wasn't shipped/stored properly (dried out cork was first sign of trouble).

Nola the owner of Veleta talked to us about the smooth tannins about this wine. Not chunky tannins according to her. Nice dry "pucker" in the middle.

An interesting cabernet. Spanish cab with a strikingly high acidity and big tannins. Notes of sour cherry, black cherry and chalky minerality.
