Medium tannins. Medium minus acidity. Tastes like a light Port, which is understandable given the varieties and production method. I’m starting to think that Tinta Roriz in the hands of Douro winemakers can do no wrong. Simple fruity wine with some pencil shavings notes, which give it a little balance. Why can’t winemakers outside Portugal make such pleasant thirst quenching wines for $9.00?
