Classic varietal notes of ripe red cherry, tart cranberry, vanilla, and black pepper on the nose. Light bodied with tart astringency and red fruit and sweet vanilla on the palate with hints of almond extract and mild black tea lingering nicely on the finish. Nice showcase of Pinot character. Should go well with lean meats or mild cheese.
