Dark and inky. Half ripe and half tart cherry and plum. Elegant wood and spice on nose. Has plenty of fruit, but has firm tannins and enough acidity to give plenty of structure. Does not oxidize really fast like many under 10 wines do. Elegant. Worth the price!!
