Valdivieso of Chile, central valley, Caballo Loco #8. 14% alc. This blend is unknown as the grapes are not mentioned on the bottle. The color is ruby red with a tint of brown like we see in most French wines. The bouquet is like an Italian Sangiovese with hints of blueberry pie and dandelions. The palate is characteristic of dark cherry and blueberry and a hint of dark currant. There is a slight hint of oak and moss. No spice, no other real flavors that I can detect. A very simple wine. The finish is quick and mildly dry. Not my favorite, but not bad for a South American wine.
