Light salmon color. Muted nose of red berries and rose petals. Nice mixture of fruit and earth on the palate with long, mineral finish. Dry with good acidity and 14% alcohol. Made from 100% Nebbiolo.

Langhe Nebbiolo Rosé! A 2014 and doing rather well. The last of 12. Have had this wine for about a year and a half and it's neat to see the development. Now this one seems like it's a lot of stone ground fruit on the front with less acidity when it used to be rather acidic. Stone ground red fruit with a little bit of cinnamon? Very intriguing wine. Finishes tart yet a hint of sweet, less age on the back than the front. Not a sweet bomb Rosé, intricate and complex. Really wishing I had thrown a few more of these further back in the cellar! RIP Nebbiolo Rosé!
