Nice purple in color with a wide purplish rim.

Fruity nose with blueberries, sweet cherries, black currants, licorice, vanilla, earth, wood, chocolates, cloves, alcohol and black pepper.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and nice legs.

Fruity on the palate with blackberries, plums, raspberries, light oak, spices, earth, coffee, dark chocolates, tobacco, herbs, spices and peppercorn.

Medium plus in length on the finish, with fine grained tannins and tart cherries.

This is a nice Bordeaux blend from Napa County, California. Balanced with nice complexity and a very tangy finish. Feels more like a right Bank Bordeaux.

A good everyday wine. Good by itself, but better with food, and needs 15 minutes to open up . Will probably be better in a year or two.

14.9% alcohol by volume.

Tried again three months after first go-around and cherry has receded, while body has improved. Nice improvements!

Cherry, for sure. Will probably benefit from laying this down for another 12 months or so to smooth out.

Clear and bright. Deep color intensity. Rich garnet color with red tints. Medium plus intensity on the nose. Raspberry, macerated cherries, plum, some spice. Nutmeg. On the palate, medium plus body, warming alcohol, chewy tannins. Medium acidity short finish. Corresponding nose and palate.
