Okanagan Valley Pinot Blanc

Upper Bench doesn't do tastings at their place on Mondays so we just got some cheese and wine to go for a breakfast picnic at another winery. This Pinot Blanc has a lemon peel nose... The palate brings more of the lemon, a lot of mineral and dusty herb... The body feels big to me for a Pinot Blanc and so satisfying... Though not a ton of acidity (medium, if that), this was a really nice pairing for the suggested creamy cheese accompaniment, their Okanagan Sun... A really nice way to start the morning on the bench...
