Almost like chewing on charcoal. Smokey and meaty. Very full with firm tannins. Just ripened red and black fruit. Reminiscent of Mourvèdre. Really tasty and perfect for an assado!

Jan 31st, 2019Certainly peculiar... it's 50% Nielluccio (the rest Syrah and Grenache) which is apparently indigenous to Corsica and closely related to Sangiovese. Tannic, with a tart and herbaceous wild edge. There's some big fruit there, but it sometimes gets lost in mix. Needs food. For the curious. #delectabingo
