Best showing for this bottle yet as these continue to settle down and balance out. Crisp and clean with apple and pear notes, really bright young fruit, but light and with some cut. These will continue to improve for several more years.

I am trying to figure out how to place this. It is a sparkling wine, reflective of a fairly mineral but not austere chard. There’s not much autolysis. I keep waiting for that familiar yeastiness that characterizes Champagne and I don’t get much. I don’t dislike this. I just find it hard to place.

Pretty aggressive so a few hours open is time well spent. Apricot, lemon curd, light biscuit.
