Top Notes For
While not awful this wine had quite a few faults. It was a little dusty and bitter, with a touch of vinegar taste with a hint of plastic (this did not come from a plastic bottle). It was also, strangely earthy with a mouth coating palate I didn’t expect. It was almost like eating a fruit that isn’t quite ripe. A bit pineapple-like going down, with a lingering taste of vanilla.
Not an especially sweet wine, but crisp and lively.

Nov 12th, 2014Pleasant crisp apples and pears. Slightly sweet, but not cloying. Not much mineral kick. Enjoyed with Peggy and John at The Docksider on Glen Lake.
