Needs decanting - opens up beautifully after a couple hours - plummy, robust texture, a bit of rhubarb. Paired with braised lamb shanks.

One of my perennial favorites and very sad to hear 2018 is the last vintage of it. First time I’ve drank with this much age and wow. Worthy the wait. Fruit is less jammy and more well integrated.

Impeccably balanced. Great month feel. Peppery goodness, mixed berries and vegi-grassiness on the nose paired perfectly with marinated/grilled tri-tip. Great effort.....
