Hot and jammy. The over 16% alc is just too much for this wine. I still enjoyed it with ribs in a guilty pleasure sort of way, but my wife refused to finish her glass, which is a rare event.

16.3 alc! Lol this is California zyn at its best in my opinion, really well balanced good with food or by itself, or even at the end of a nice dinner while talking to your friends...

Smoked meats, rhubarb and a little funk on the prominent nose. Jammy purple fruits are balanced against an integrated tannic backbone with a spicy, peppery finish. Some may think it overripe but it is a great Zin in my book.
