Nov 2nd, 2025The 2000 Hayne Zinfandel is still vibrant and drinking really well. It has a brick color with just a touch of brown hinting at its age. The nose is still full of classic, rich berries. On the palate: cherry and dark fruits with some raspberry providing a touch of acidity. No tannins or oxidation. Opened over time and became downright jammy like it’s younger siblings.
