My 2nd '03 Turley of the night. This is a notch below the Keig as the alcohol is bit more noticeable (16.1%) but this is still doing pretty well. Duarte is one of the cheaper vineyard designates in Turley's lineup, but it consistently delivers.

This one's a little too old and too ripe (16.1%). Tastes more like a late harvest. Glad they don't really make them like this anymore.

Still has bright acidity, well integrated tannin and fantastic balance. Bramble fruit, cinnamon, clove, cardamom with an insanely long finish of alder wood smoke and black pepper.
