Clear medium yellow color with aromas of tropical and stone fruits. The palate shows basic stone fruits with unusual spice flavors. The wine was way too oaky and out of balance. The finish was off. Pass.

Well the first official wine of the new year and I'm hoping we have a more impressive year ahead...lifting my glass and praying we have the worst behind us.... so here we go...at first nice golden hue. Citrus and buttered popcorn to the nose. Citrus slight hints of tropical fruit to the front palate, slight butter through the mid and raging oak monster on the back...luckily a mercifully short finish. I bought this guy at a respected wine shop but could have found better at a local supermarket.
