Smells like flint, plum, and evergreen. Notes of blackberry, chocolate, and dark cherry. A hint of leather and pepper. Bright acidity.

Pairs very well with steak. Has a very spicy bold taste and finish. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

4 out 5 blind tasters might hedge and say "grenache", given its heat, spice, leather and sandalwood notes. And hot as hell ABV. It overwhelmed even the gamiest goat and spiced grains dinner we paired it with... BUT it is built to "impress". What it lacks in finesse and pair-ability, it makes up with macho, look-at-me fruit and punch. It's the Dothraki of Zin, for better and worse.

Rich deep color with a full bold taste you would expect from an Old Vine Zin that ends with a surprisingly sharp almost-citrus finish on the back of the tongue.

Raspberries, strong tannins, delicious with steak, a little too sweet, too high alcohol

Cherry on the nose with classic Zin notes to the body and finish. A little sweet on the finish.
