Deep inky in color with a purple rim.
Nice fruity nose with black currants, blackberries, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, spices, coffee, leather, light green vegetables and black pepper.
Full bodied with medium acidity and nice legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, plums, cherries, currants, oak, vanilla licorice, vegetables, cloves, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, spices and peppercorn.
Medium finish with medium tannins and black pepper.
This Mendoza Malbec Blend is always nice. Spicy, well balanced and enjoyable by itself or with food. Nice mouthfeel, with nice complexity.
Could use a couple of years in the bottle to mature, but drinking nicely now.
Needs an hour or two to open up properly.
A blend of 79% Malbec, 11% Bonarda and 10% Syrah.
14% alcohol by volume.
