Wasn't overly taken with this. First mouthful or so was quite good,,but then tailed off. Preferred the Moroccan Syrah that we had.

I had the great pleasure or working across the road from these folks on this vintage, and this wine definately shows the skill of the winemakers. Elegant, velvety, spicy and fresh. I'm surprised how well it's drinking after such little time in the bottle. I can't wait to taste higher grade Syrah from this vintage in Hawke's Bay.
