Nose of a jammy Santa Barbara Pinot noir and higher alcohol. Effervescent red berries glisten across the tongue upon fresh corkage. Bright red and fruit forward. A crowd pleaser. I canโ€™t get over how the wine continues to tease and tingle the top of your tongue even after a bit of patience on the bottle release. Fresh young texture like a Beaujolais, surprises me that this has some age at 2015 vintage. Young fruit and baking spices make this an easy pairer for foods. I found this as a steal at a retailer at $19 while I was out working the field. Bad girl, buying wine on the job. ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿท

Nice blend. There are some grapes in this blend I never tasted before. Interesting - Carignane, Mataro, and Alicante Bouschet. Almost tastes like a fruit forward Pinot.

Very easy drinking mind. Not jammy at all - little spicy but will pair well with just about anything.

Welcome from Balboa Resort in Newport Beach. Highly aromatic on first pour, dry from start to finish, likely good with pasta or something heavy, very drinkable, if not particularly memorable.

Tried w a "Big Red" flight @ Vino Volas. It was notably better than a paired Duckhorn & 2 others. Bought a bottle to bring home & still very happy w it. Rich, complex bouquet. Well rounded w hints of spice, tobacco & fruit, but not jammy.

Hints of black cherry and chocolate--came with the hotel room--who am I to say "no"?
