La Storia Block 303 Alexander Valley Zinfandel

Gorgeous nose is classic Zin. Dark cherry and black raspberry fruit, with a bit of loamy gravel. Broad and balanced in the mouth, it’s got a bit of youthfully vigorous but soft tannin to keep the flavor clinging to the palate. Alcohol is in check, and the fruit is concentrated but avoids jamminess. Lovely.

Soft tannins, berries, vanilla, and some pepper. Drinks well by itself. Good, just not exemplary.

Deep berry. Subdued tannins. Easy drinking with pork loin & quinoa

Easy drinking, thinner body with soft tannins , Jammy, notes of currants, blackberries, vanilla and oak. Slight licorice on the finish.

Needs time to breathe. A lot of it. Otherwise, it tastes flat.

Smooth Zin, good briary nose, well balanced... But fairly ordinary ... 2013

Ripe, earthy.....sent this through last night, the experts at Delectable said they hadn't seen it, so today they get it....I'm guessing
