Beautiful color of dark ruby with a wide reddish rim and medium intensity.

On the nose, strawberries, raspberries, leather, oak, licorice, earth, black pepper, spices, wet leaves and tobacco.

Medium bodied with medium acidity and smooth.

Dry on the palate with raspberries, strawberries, sour cherries, wood, spices, bell pepper, vegetables, herbs and black pepper.

Medium finish with soft tannins and bitter vegetable.

This is a simple Merlot based Blend from South Africa. Not fully balanced, but drinkable nonetheless. Spicy and a bit bitter on the ending. Feels like an inexpensive Bordeaux Red.

Good right out of the bottle and did not change much in the decanter. Might be better in 6 months to a year.

A good food wine. I paired it with roasted turkey and mashed potatoes.

A blend of 63% Merlot, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Cabernet Franc. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

All the usual suspects in flavours and nose. Unfortunately very thin in body and finish. Lacked tannins I’d kinda expected with Cab Franc in blend. No need to search this out...been there done that!
Nice label design I’ll give it a 4 ⭐️😊

This is a young, medium light bodied blend from South Africa. Contains Cab Sav, merlot and Cabernet Franc. Light berry notes, mild tannins. Most powerful aspect of the wine is the cab franc, that easily overtakes the merlot and Cab Sav notes. It’s a decent table wine.

Great nose, but too acidic for D. G. enjoyed the brightness of it.

At home drinking with family, crisp dry taste. Good with left overs.
