It's not often that you can taste something that's been in barrels for at least three years in Washington State. In the last 3 weeks I've tasted 3 of these. Eagle Creek's VS 2009 red, My IX Barrels 2009 red and this one. Such a beautiful wine. Rustic and yet still has the sense of ripe fruit!?! The oak was obviously there, but not super annoying. Loved this wine! They also make a great 12 month aged Sangio.
