Uruguay Trade Tasting in WAW a painful job. This is a horrid zombie Sauvignon from a country that apparently shouldn’t make it.

Complex aromas of red cherry, herbs and spices, cedar. Lively tart cherry acidity, peppery tannins, smooth body. Incredibly balanced for a $12 wine, and more evidence that I like this grape, just not the fruit-bomb oak-bomb CA version!
